Delaware Technical & Community College

Employers in Kent County may take advantage of a fully-equipped custom and contract-training complex and its adjoining multifunctional satellite conference center.

Conference, meeting, and training needs are easily met in this premier 27,000 square foot facility designed to accommodate the smallest of groups and those of up to 250 individuals.

Equipped with Fiber-Optic Distance Learning with 2-way audio/video capabilities for interactive participation, state-of-the-art computer labs, HVAC and mechanical training facilities, and a specialized hazardous materials training area, the Conference and Training Center at Delaware Tech, Terry Campus, will satisfy the needs of all organizational development training programs and satellite conferencing with downlink capabilities.

Delaware State University

Delaware State University is a fully-accredited, four-year comprehensive institution. With an enrollment of more than 3,600 students, the University is the state's only historically black institution of higher education. Located along DuPont Highway (U.S. 13) on the north end of Dover, DSU is situated on a beautiful 400-acre campus where more than 60% of the students reside. Among the 67 undergraduate degree offerings are unique academic programs like Airway Science, Sports Management, Optical Science, Forensic Biology, Mass Communications, Nursing, Social Work and many others. Among the 19 outstanding graduate programs are Business Administration, Sports Administration, Historic Preservation, Education, and Plant Science. The university also offers two doctoral programs in Educational Leadership, and Interdisciplinary Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Physics.

Wesley College

Founded in 1873, it is a fully accredited coeducational liberal arts institution located in the heart of historic Dover, Delaware. Bachelor of Arts degrees are offered in twenty two areas. Associate Degree programs are also available. Wesley College also offers special programs at Dover Air Force Base for military personnel and civilians. Wesley College has an enrollment of 1 ,350 full- and part-time students.

Wilmington College

Students at Wilmington College's two locations in Kent County may obtain Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in many different areas. The College has a weekend Master's degree program which is designed to be completed in one year. The fully-accredited institution also features eight week courses and a liberal policy for the acceptance of transfer credits and flexible scheduling that is convenient for working persons.

University of Delaware - Parallel Program

The University of Delaware Parallel Program provides regular undergraduate credit courses taught by an University approved faculty. Students can obtain bachelor's degrees through the Delaware Technical and Community College's Terry Campus in Dover.
